The European Environment Agency EEA has just published a new Report on Adaptation and Climate Change Risks, ‘Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction in Europe – enhancing the coherence of knowledge base, policies and practices’.
A closer cooperation between adaptation and risk reduction experts, better policy alignment, increasing coherence in actions and the implementation of innovative methods are crucial to addressing the risks that arise from the extreme events we are experimenting globally
